The dolls house restoration project was an enormous undertaking, the sheer size and complexity of this project made this difficult on many levels from space to construction, scratch building to electrical wiring.
The outer shell and all the existing materials were kept as original as possible with the only alteration s being made on pieces that were completely missing. The outside railing and tiling has had significant work done to it and the interior has been tidied and made usable after years of storage.
The most interesting hurdle with this project was the lighting. Only certain parts of the building worked and finding materials to be made usable with this house were difficult to come by due to the age of the building.
